OUR STORY
The brothers Corrado and Ilario Castelnovo opened their restaurant in Cremia in 1994 after years of experience in the sector.
Ristorante La Baia® soon conquers customers looking for a fish restaurant on Lake Como, thanks to its refined cuisine, its tables located right by the lake and its attentive service.
For over 25 years it is the landmark for quality cuisine in the upper Lake Como. An offer recognized throughout the territory,
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
In April 2010 our Chef Ilario won the 2010 Heinz Beck Trophy with Risotto with Bitto Stravecchio all'Elisir di Sfurzat and best dish-wine pairing, with 5-star Sforzato from Nino Negri.
In 2015 his son Emanuele won the same prize with his Pizzoccheri according to the original recipe. Two Valtellina recipes that we are proud to offer on our menu.
On the occasion of the restaurant's 30th anniversary, Baia is honored to become part of the Union of Restaurants of Good Memory. The specialty selected by the guide is Persicotto®. The restaurant is pleased to welcome travelers and lovers of local cuisine who at the end of the experience will be able to take home a splendid ceramic plate hand-painted in Vietri sul Mare. This will be a truly GOOD MEMORY.
